- monkey lived in a tree on a river bank
- river had many crocodile
- crocodile tells her son to get a money so they can eat it's heart
- little crocodile tries to get monkey across the river
- little crocodile said that the monkey can ride on his back across the river
- little crocodile tells monkey of the plan, monkey said he left his heart in the tree
- monkey run up a tree

How the Turtle Saved His Own Life
- king made lake for young princess to play with
- boys wanted to see the fishes
- men ordered to kill a turtle
- turtle is safe in water

The Merchant of Seri
-he sold brass and tinware
- poor old woman and her granddaughter
- did not know her bowl was gold
- greedy merchant

The Turtle Who Couldn't Stop Talking
- lived by a pond on the foot of the hill
- geese flying with the turtle
- he talked and the geese dropped him

The Ox Who Won the Forfeit
- man owned a strong ox
- brought ox to village
- man paid for his forfeit
- ox wondered why the man treated him badly
- ox pulled 100 carts

The Sandy Road
- merchant in the desert
- sand was hot, merchant walked at night
- day break they camped
- they sold goods and returned home

The Quarrel of the Quails
- lived in a forest
- threw a net over them 
- quails worked together
- the quails quarreled and the folwer caught them all in his net
- sold them for a good price

The Measure of Rice
- dishonest king
- valuer set prices
- king wanted higher prices
- 500 horses is the measure of rice

The Foolish, Timid Rabbit
- coconut fell
- rabbit thought the world was ending
- everyone ran with him
- lion stopped them
- went back to the tree
- realized it was a coconut adn the world wasn't ending
